Fair, Flexible Buybacks

An Easy Way to Get Market Value

Find the value.

What’s your bullion or rare coin worth? Blanchard will gladly provide the current bid price for your holdings. Call 1-866-764-9135 for a quote.

Rare Coins

To give you a quote, our numismatic experts must bid your item(s) on the open market. It may take up to 48 hours to return a valuation. This is a market indication only and not an offer. Note: Blanchard will only consider rare coins that have been graded and “slabbed” (sealed in a plastic case) by Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) or Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). For loose coins, if your coin type is featured on tile PCGS or NGC websites, you should strongly consider professional coin grading and slabbing to maximize value. Please consult a reputable dealer near you if you don’t find your loose coin type on either website.

Get an offer.

Once you receive a quote, we’ll get started on providing a formal offer. This often requires shipping your holdings to Blanchard for physical inspection. Your portfolio manager will personally guide you through the most secure shipping method.

Rare Coins

For rare coins, we will only consider those that have been graded, certified and “slabbed” (sealed in a plastic case) by either Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) or Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Blanchard does not buy coins that have not been graded by PCGS or NGC, or that are not “slabbed” in a plastic case. If either of these conditions describes your rare coin, you must decide if you’d like the coin to be professionally graded and slabbed before we will consider buying it.

Blanchard is a major buyer of rare coins and it is typically our practice to offer to buy back coins that Blanchard has sold at the then current market price should a client wish to sell the coins. If you wish to sell your coins in the future, Blanchard encourages you to offer them to Blanchard first, although Blanchard cannot guarantee to make a bid on every coin or that Blanchard’s bid will equal or exceed those from other coin dealers. Should Blanchard make a bid on your coins, it is Blanchard’s current practice, which is subject to change at its sole discretion, to offer to buy back coins that it commonly sells at Blanchard’s current bid price (the price at which it buys back coins sight-unseen from its clients). That bid price is raised or lowered on a daily, even hourly basis, depending upon various market conditions, Blanchard’s inventory needs and the price and availability of comparable coins.
