1861 CSA Seated Liberty Half Restrike PCGS AU58 CAC




Only four original Confederate Half Dollars were struck in 1861. However, the Confederate reverse die was kept and, after a series of owners, was eventually sold to J.W. Scott. Scott restored the Confederate reverse die and combined it with a new die and struck 500 white metal token which he sold to collectors.
