I could not find a way to use e-check on checkout so I will have to mail a check. My bank charges to much for a wire transfer.

Shipping took awhile. Both to be shipped and the delivery/travel time. I called Blanchard to inquire when it would be shipped and left a voicemail. No returned call, but received a shipping and tracking notification the next morning.

Great selection but system can be quirky when purchasing

The American Silver Eagle Bullion coin program was begun in 1986, in order to compete with the Canadians, South Africans and Chinese who already were striking silver bullion Troy Ounce based coins.

These One Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver coins are extremely popular worldwide and quite often sell out the quantities that are struck each year for both the Uncirculated and Proof coins. The Uncirculated coins are the coins that are typically sold in rolls or boxes and have the lowest premiums but the highest mintages. The Proof coins have a significantly lower mintage and receive special, careful handling due to the fact that they are struck for collectors. Both types of American Silver Eagle coins share the exact sane designs.

The obverse of the American Silver Eagle displays a wonderful and faithful rendition of Adolph Weinman’s ‘Walking Liberty’ half dollar design that was used on circulating coinage from 1916 through 1947.

The Walking Liberty design depicts Miss Liberty, dressed in flowing robes as well as having an American flag around her shoulders. She is walking to the left and she has her right hand outstretched in friendship. Her left arm cradles an olive branch, and the radiant sun is rising behind her. Above her is the word “LIBERTY,” in the right field is “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and on the lower periphery is the current date of striking.

On the reverse of the American Silver Eagle is then-Chief Engraver John Mercanti’s depiction of the Heraldic Eagle design, The eagle has outstretched wings, a shield covering its body and arrows in one talon and olive branches in the other. The eagle has a small banner in her mouth on which is inscribed “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” The phrase “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” is on the upper periphery while the lower periphery sees the phrases “1 OZ. FINE SILVER – ONE DOLLAR.”

This coin is a 2019-W American Silver Eagle in Proof condition. It has been graded as “Proof 69, Ultra Cameo,” by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). NGC is one of the most respected third-party, independent, coin grading services around the world. Its grading is consistent and well-received around the globe.

The ’Proof 69’ grade means it is only one point away from perfection, while the ‘Ultra Cameo,’ designation means that there is significant contrast on the reverse  between the mirrored fields and the frosted devices. The ‘Ultra Cameo’ designation is awarded to a small number of Proof coins.
