History
The Austrian Mint has crafted one of the world’s most beautiful coins. The Austrian Philharmonic coin celebrates music in a grand way. Musical instruments adorn both sides of this majestic gold coin.
Design
The Musikverein, Vienna’s famed music hall, is well known worldwide. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is also renowned internationally. The Great Organ, which is in the Golden Hall, dominates the obverse design. It also includes the “2024” date, the face value “50 EURO”, the metal composition “1/2 UNZE GOLD 999.9,” and the country of origin “REPUBLIK OSTERREICH.”
The reverse of the coin depicts a multitude of expertly detailed musical instruments including a bassoon, a cello, a harp, a Vienna horn, and a violin. Emblazoned across the top is “WEINER PHILHARMONIKER,” which translates to “Vienna Philharmonic.”
Due to the quality of products produced by the Austrian Mint and the .9999 purity of these coins, they do qualify for inclusion in U.S. Precious Metal IRA  Accounts.
