Products delivered to an Alabama address are charged an 8% flat rate tax on certain items. These include copper, some bullion products that are less than .90 fine, certain rare coins and foreign or non-circulated coins.

In the state of Colorado, we collect taxes on copper products and certain numismatic items. Taxes are applied to products that are shipped to a Colorado address.

In the state of Connecticut, we are required to collect taxes on platinum, palladium, copper, certain rare coins and any single order of gold and/or silver that totals less than $1000. This applies to products that are shipped to a Connecticut address.

District Of Columbia

We are required to collect taxes on all products sold by BLC and delivered to an address in the District of Columbia.

Georgia

If you are receiving products to an address in the state of Georgia, we are required to collect taxes on select palladium, copper and some currency items.

We are required to collect taxes on all products sold by BLC and delivered to an address in Hawaii.

Illinois

In the state of Illinois, we are required to collect taxes on some palladium, copper and bullion products that are less than .980 fine.

Indiana

In the state of Indiana, we are required to collected taxes on copper, gold with a purity of less than .995 fine, silver with a purity less than .999 fine, palladium with a purity of less than .9995 fine and platinum with a purity of less than .9995 fine. We are also required to collect taxes on numismatic items.

In the state of Maryland, we must collect sales tax on copper products, any single transaction of gold, silver, platinum or palladium that is less than $1000, numismatic coins less than $1000 and any coin that are not used as official mediums of exchange in either the US or foreign countries.

The state of New Jersey requires us to collect tax on all products we sell.

New York

The state of New York requires us to collect taxes on copper products and some other items. Items with precious metals content must be taxed if the total purchase is less than or equal to $1000. Orders with products containing precious metals can be charged sales tax if the order if more than $1000 and certain measures are met.
