I started with Blanchard in 1996 after a friend told me what a great company it was in the precious metals market. After interviewing to see if it was a fit, I remember walking out and seeing two Marines standing at salute in their dress blues, swords, and white gloves. Having served in the U.S. Air Force myself, I was immediately intrigued and had to know more. I walked over, knocked on the office door, and asked the gentleman inside why there were two Marines standing at salute outside. That gentleman turned out to be Donald Doyle, CEO of Blanchard, who looked at me and said, “Well son, that is my platoon.” That moment told me everything I needed to know about Blanchard. The loyalty, respect, and integrity I saw that day still define the company today. The rest, as they say, is history.

Over the years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the historical and tangible beauty of U.S. gold and silver. My core gold holdings include pre-1933 $20 Double Eagles and Eagles, while my numismatic interests focus on key and early dates, proof gold, and the U.S. Top 100 coins. In silver, I favor pre-1933 circulated Morgan and Peace Dollars, along with key and early dates that tell the story of America’s growth and prosperity.

What I enjoy most about this field is its rich connection to our nation’s heritage. The U.S. gold and silver market reflects a lineage that stretches back to the very foundation of America, to leaders like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson who helped shape our monetary system. It is a truly fascinating legacy that continues to inspire me every day.
