Design
The obverse depicts the Great Organ in the Golden Hall of Vienna's Musikverein, home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Inscriptions identify the issuing country, silver weight and purity, year of issue, and 1.50 euro denomination.
The reverse features an arrangement of orchestral instruments associated with the Vienna Philharmonic, including a cello, violins, harp, Vienna horn, and bassoon. The inscription WIENER PHILHARMONIKER identifies the celebrated orchestra that inspired the series.
