I appreciate the added security of a signature upon delivery but feel it wasn't necessary. I missed the first attempt because I was at work. A heads up would of been appreciated. Thanks.

Making a purchase on my iPhone is always a struggle. It locks up and I have to make 2-3 attempts before completing my purchase. Very annoying. Love your selection and staff but making a purchase can be very frustrating.

History
Canadian Maple Leaf gold coins were first introduced in 1979. Like other bullion coins of the day, the Canadian Maple Leafs were made of .999 Fine Gold. However, beginning with the 1982 issue, the new Maple Leaf coins were now struck from .9999 Fine Gold, and their marketing touted that their coins had a higher purity of gold. That enhancement established the Royal Canadian Mint as a real competitor in this bullion marketplace.
Design
From the Maple Leaf’s inception in 1979 until the 2023 coin was struck, the reigning monarch was Queen Elizabeth II. Her portrait graced the obverse of all of those coins. For the 2024 coin, King Charles III had his portrait on that year’s and subsequent years' Maple Leaf bullion coins.
The reverse of the Gold Maple Leaf is essentially unchanged and depicts the Canadian national symbol of a Maple Leaf.
The Royal Canadian Mint has led the way in trying different types of improvements to make their coins more exciting. In 1999 and on the 2000 year dated coins, the RCM added a privy mark of fireworks to honor the “Y2K” celebrations. In 2004, the 25th Anniversary of the Maple Leaf coin, the RCM added a privy mark as well as outer rings of .9999 Fine Silver. In 2008, to honor the Vancouver Olympics in 2010, the coins were stamped with the logo of these upcoming Olympics.
The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coins are a very interesting set of coins, and this listing offers different years of these wonderful coins.
