For whatever reason you only allow 5 minutes to setup an account with banking info and to pay. With all the verifications that had to be done it took me 2 phones and at minimum 6 tries....that's annoying. We usually shop with APMEX and everything isn't on a timed rushed situation which makes for a much smoother process.

Introduction
The 1824/2 25C Capped Bust Quarter Large Size graded PCGS XF40 CAC is a scarce early U.S. silver coin distinguished by its overdate. Every known 1824 Capped Bust Quarter was struck from an obverse die originally prepared for 1822 and later altered to display the 1824 date. Its XF40 grade preserves substantial design detail despite circulation, while CAC approval recognizes its quality and eye appeal within the assigned grade.
History
The Capped Bust Quarter debuted in 1815 with a design by John Reich and represented the first quarter dollar production at the U.S. Mint since 1807. The early Large Size format continued through 1828 before the denomination was redesigned and reduced in diameter in 1831.
The 1824/2 is one of the notable overdates of the early quarter series. To create the issue, the Philadelphia Mint used an unused obverse die originally dated 1822 and altered the date for 1824. All known 1824 quarters are overdates, and the issue is represented by a single known die marriage identified as Browning-1, or B-1.
Contemporary production records for the issue are complicated. Numismatic researchers generally attribute the 16,000 quarters delivered under a Mint warrant dated December 31, 1823, to the 1824/2 issue. Surviving examples are scarce, particularly as grade increases, making the issue an important date within the Large Size Capped Bust Quarter series.
Design
The obverse features John Reich's left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a cap secured by a headband inscribed LIBERTY. Thirteen stars surround the portrait, with the 1824/2 overdate positioned below.
The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with a shield on its breast, holding arrows and an olive branch. A ribbon above the eagle bears the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, while UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounds the design and 25 C. appears below. As a Philadelphia Mint issue, the coin carries no mintmark.
