I set up an account with wire transfer information to expedite purchasing and now none of my w/t information has been retained. Had to call several times to get information on my order. Even after the product was delivered it showed as still on order. The only reason I got this email is because your company never showed the order as delivered. Ryan helped me out, but it took numerous phone calls to understand what was going on with my order.

The 1907 $20 Saint Gaudens High Relief Wire Edge coin is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful gold coins ever produced by the United States Mint. Designed by the famed sculptor Augustus Saint Gaudens, this coin revolutionized American coinage with its striking high relief design and artistic excellence. This particular piece is graded MS65 by PCGS, reflecting superior condition with strong luster and sharp detail.

The 1907 Saint Gaudens $20 gold coin is notable for its high relief strike, meaning the design elements rise prominently above the coin’s surface. This technique gives the coin a sculptural appearance and enhanced depth rarely seen on other coins. The wire edge refers to the distinctive raised rim that encircles the coin, adding to its visual appeal and making it easier to identify.

On the obverse, Lady Liberty is depicted striding forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, symbolizing enlightenment and peace. The sun’s rays fan out behind her, creating a radiant backdrop. The reverse features a majestic eagle in flight surrounded by thirteen stars representing the original colonies. The intricate detail in both designs demonstrates Saint Gaudens’ mastery of relief sculpture and composition.

This coin’s composition is 90 percent gold and 10 percent copper, with a total weight of 33.436 grams. The high relief strike and wire edge enhance the coin’s tactile qualities and make it a favorite among collectors and investors alike. The MS65 grade indicates that the coin is in mint state condition with only minor imperfections visible under magnification.

The 1907 high relief design was initially controversial due to its striking beauty and technical challenges. The high relief made the coins difficult to stack and strike in large quantities. Despite these challenges, the coin remains one of the most celebrated designs in United States history and is prized by collectors worldwide.

PCGS grading provides assurance of authenticity and condition, while the MS65 grade confirms this coin’s high quality. This certification is essential for collectors seeking premium examples of the Saint Gaudens $20 gold coin series.

Collectors appreciate this coin for its artistry, historical significance, and intrinsic value. It represents a turning point in American coinage where aesthetics and craftsmanship were prioritized alongside functionality. The wire edge detail is a unique characteristic that sets this issue apart from later Saint Gaudens gold coins.

Whether you are a serious collector of gold coins or an investor looking for a piece with both historical and intrinsic value, the 1907 $20 Saint Gaudens High Relief Wire Edge PCGS MS65 is an outstanding choice. Its rarity and beauty make it a centerpiece in any collection.
