For whatever reason you only allow 5 minutes to setup an account with banking info and to pay. With all the verifications that had to be done it took me 2 phones and at minimum 6 tries....that's annoying. We usually shop with APMEX and everything isn't on a timed rushed situation which makes for a much smoother process.

Introduction
The 2027 1/4 oz Lunar Goat Gold Coin celebrates the Year of the Goat as part of The Perth Mint's Australian Lunar Series III. Struck from one-quarter troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, this fractional bullion coin combines precious metal content with an annually changing design inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. Issued as Australian legal tender, the coin carries a face value of $25 AUD.
History
The Perth Mint's Australian Lunar Series III continues a tradition of precious metal coins honoring the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. The third series began in 2020 with the Year of the Mouse and features a new animal each year across a range of gold, silver, and platinum bullion coins.
The 2027 release celebrates the Year of the Goat, the eighth animal in the traditional Chinese zodiac. Previous Years of the Goat include 2015, 2003, 1991, and 1979. In Chinese tradition, the Goat is associated with qualities including creativity, compassion, calmness, and resilience.
The 1/4 oz edition offers a fractional way to own gold from the 2027 Lunar Goat bullion program. Containing one-quarter troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, it combines the investment appeal of high-purity gold with the distinctive annual artwork of Australian Lunar Series III.
Design
The reverse, designed by Wade Robinson, depicts a goat standing proudly on a mountain plain surrounded by rugged terrain, with a solitary tree visible in the distance. The design incorporates the Chinese character for goat, the inscription GOAT 2027, and The Perth Mint's P mintmark.
The obverse features Dan Thorne's effigy of His Majesty King Charles III. The portrait is accompanied by inscriptions identifying the monarch, the coin's one-quarter troy ounce weight, .9999 gold fineness, and $25 Australian monetary denomination.
