Making a purchase on my iPhone is always a struggle. It locks up and I have to make 2-3 attempts before completing my purchase. Very annoying. Love your selection and staff but making a purchase can be very frustrating.

Meet expectations

The Peace Dollar, coined to commemorate the triumph of the United States and its allies in World War I, also met an urgent need for more silver dollars.
During the war, Germany fueled rumors that Britain lacked enough silver to support its currency, leading to a spike in silver prices and jeopardizing the British war effort. In response, Britain purchased large amounts of silver from the U.S. to bolster its reserves and stabilize prices. To fulfill this demand, the U.S. melted down over 250 million coins, including numerous Morgan Dollars.
While the mint resumed Morgan Dollar production in 1921, the American Numismatic Association (ANA) was also lobbying Congress for a new “Peace Coin” to mark the war's end.
The Peace Coin design competition saw an unexpected winner: Anthony de Francisci, a young and less well-known artist who outshone several prominent designers. Teresa, de Francisci's wife, who once gazed in wonder at the Statue of Liberty as a young immigrant in New York, inspired the Liberty image on the coin—realizing a childhood dream of hers.
The Peace Dollar showcases a fresh-faced Liberty in profile, her hair swept back by the wind, topped with a crown that represents the sun. The coin features the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year it was minted. On the reverse, an eagle is perched on a mountaintop holding an olive branch, with the sun's rays fanning out behind it. The words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE enhance the imagery.
Minted in two periods, from 1921 to 1928 and again in 1934 to 1935, the Peace Dollar is notable for its brief production span, one of the shortest in U.S. history.
The brilliant uncirculated (BU) condition of this Peace Dollar means that when you hold it in your hand, every exquisite detail will shine clear. You'll see Liberty's youthful essence, the eagle's stoic pose, and the sun's brilliant rays. This coin is a standout piece for anyone collecting silver dollars.
